The design team combines complementary expertise in training engineering, educational policy, inclusive pedagogy, life skills, social and emotional learning, community health, and social and behavioural change communication (SBC/IEC-CCC). This complementarity enables the development of programmes that are aligned with international standards, while being contextualised to the realities of Madagascar and operational on a large scale.
As part of the current process of updating the Life Skills programme, the design team comprises the following experts:
Romain Ndrianjafy
Senior expert in training engineering and educational policy
A senior consultant in education and training, he has extensive expertise in curriculum design, training engineering and educational programme evaluation. He has led and supported projects backed by the World Bank, AFD, UNICEF and the Global Partnership for Education, contributing in particular to the reform of skills frameworks and the production of large-scale training modules for tens of thousands of education stakeholders.
Mandavololonirina Ratsimbazafy
Expert in inclusive education, educational ICT and life skills
A specialist in inclusive education, teacher training and the integration of life skills, she has proven experience in designing educational modules tailored to vulnerable children and children with disabilities. She has contributed to several major projects supported by UNICEF, USAID, AFD and the World Bank, integrating life skills, social-emotional learning and inclusive education into curricula and training programmes.
Marie Bernadette Raharisoa
Expert in community health, coaching and life skills
A state-registered midwife and senior trainer, she has over 15 years of experience in reproductive health, community health and behaviour change. She has served as a trainer, coach and technical manager in programmes supported by USAID, UNICEF and the World Bank, with a particular focus on the wellbeing, parenting and health of adolescents and young people.
Elysée Ramamonjisoa
Expert in communication for social and behavioural change (SBC/IEC-CCC)
A recognised specialist in communication for social and behavioural change, he has over 25 years of experience in designing SBC strategies, developing IEC/CCC tools and training community actors. A former executive and consultant for UNICEF, USAID, ADRA, and several national programmes, he has coordinated the updating of curricula, guides, and training modules in the areas of health, nutrition, water, and community mobilisation.
